We were delighted to have Mr. Shripad Naik – Minister of AYUSH India, Dr.H.R.Nagendra- Chancellor of S-VYSA and Dr. Grey Fricchione – Associate chief of psychiatry, Director, Division of psychiatry and Medicine Director, Berson-Henry Institute of Mind Body Medicine sharing their expertise on the topics of Status of AYUSH and opportunities; Gaps in research and resources for advancement of yoga and Ayurveda globally and Role of Integrative Medicine in alleviating challenges faced by modern health care system and medicine.
Mr. Vipul Amin, Director, Param Group of Companies shared his insights on role of Information Technology in education and practice of Yoga and Ayurveda. In addition, he also discussed on technology intervention to understand the concepts of ancient science. Telemedicine is an innovative emerging technology to educate and awareness of healthy daily habits and more on chronic disease management through Yoga and Ayurveda.
The forum was set to address solutions by experts as they contributed their knowledge to transform the healthcare of the emerging world with the integrative approach by bringing ancient systems of Yoga and Ayurveda and Modern medicine together through research and development. More than 20 experts in their respective fields shared their expertise and knowledge on the various topics under three main division of discussion which are Basic research; Ayurveda and yoga therapy; strategies and steps for advancing Ayurveda/Yoga for healthcare.
